You have a lot of things going on in your life right now, and for the most part, you’re happy about it. Variety is the spice of life, right?
The problem with having a lot going on, is you can become overwhelmed. It’s hard to focus on what’s most important so that you can get everything done that you want to accomplish.
Does your husband think you’re getting a little ditzy and forgetful these days? Are you noticing your own brain fog? Chances are, you’re just overwhelmed.
The good news is this: As a Corporate Wife, you don’t have to punch a time-clock in order to learn valuable lessons from the Corporate World. Here’s a helpful lesson I learned regarding how to do what’s most important when you are overwhelmed.
Back in the day, when I was busy “smiling and dialing” or “pounding the pavement” in my sales career, I learned the helpful acronym: M.I.N. The acronym stands for
MOST IMPORTANT NOW.
It wasn’t that long ago that I was a working girl, trying to figure out my M.I.N., but at that time, I didn’t have the benefit of technology. Today, not only can technology help me focus on what’s most important now, there’s even an app for that! Here’s how I use an app to help me focus on what’s most important, and how you can use it, too.
If you are overwhelmed, and need to focus, I highly encourage you to download an app called WinStreak™. It’s super easy! You input your top 3 priorities for today and tomorrow and you’re done. That’s it! The app reminds you of the top 3 things that you want to accomplish, whatever they may be.
When you start utilizing this WinStreak™ app, here’s what will happen:
- You’ll focus on your top 3 priorities.
- You’ll have a better probability of getting those priorities accomplished.
- You’ll be on your own winning streak!
We live in a world where there’s a lot of negative information. WinStreak™ is a simple tool for making sure that, at the end of every day, you feel positive about your accomplishments and excited for the next day.
Here’s a bonus tip regarding another tool you can use to help eliminate your brain fog. If you’re a supplement-a-holic, like me, get your doctor’s approval to take a supplement called Alpha Brain. This supplement contains crucial components to remain calm, focused and mentally driven. My husband and I are currently trying it. Teaser alert… I will be sharing our results in a future blog post. A related supplement, that I haven’t tried but has good reviews, is Neuro Clarity.
What’s your M.I.N for today? Please share what you want to accomplish today in the comments section below.

Thank you for the app suggestion. As I was reading this I glanced over at the long to-do list I have been carrying around for awhile and felt overwhelmed just looking at all the undone tasks. Focusing on three a day makes sense and I am going to download the app now!

That’s great news, Lynn! I hope you enjoy using the app.
