Productivity has changed in this time of pandemic.
If the martians were looking down at us, they’d see that our productivity is directed to other things.
Now we can be found tracking packages, or getting sucked into the vortex of the series 90 Day Fiancé! 😉
How can we pivot so that we can use this time to our advantage and increase our productivity?
I am in the process of writing my next book–a 10,000 word novella love story, based on a master work.
To help me move forward with this goal, I needed to find someone or something to hold me accountable.
What did I do?
I enrolled in an online Productive Writing course.
Thanks to the course, I’ve been experimenting with some productivity hacks to help me get my writing done.
Beyond accomplishment, the unexpected benefit of boosting my productivity is my improved attitude.
Would you like to take a peek at what I’m doing with my daily routine to be more productive?
Here’s what I’m doing–and what you can do–to accomplish the thing that matters to you.
THREE WAYS TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY DURING QUARANTINE:
- WRITE DOWN THREE THINGS. Jot down three things you want to accomplish each day. You can use an “old school” day planner (such as the Franklin Planner system I’ve used for years), a simple notebook, or the WinStreak® App.
- SET AN ALARM. Set an alarm on your phone for 60-90 minutes, and work on your goal until the alarm goes off.
- HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE. Hold yourself accountable for your time to do the thing that matters to you. You can also ask someone to be your accountability partner.
What about you?
Are accomplishing a goal, discovering a fun hobby, or becoming more productive with your time during quarantine?
