Great article, Susan. I have a question: my knees are not really strong and lunges are painful for me, is there any other exercise I can do for my legs that don’t put so much pressure on the knees? Thanks so much!

    • If forward lunges put too much pressure on your knees, try modified lunges going backwards (instead of going forward) on your working leg. If there is still too much pressure, Nanette, squats are also a great lower body exercise. The key is to keep your weight distributed on your heels, with your knees aligned directly over your ankles, so you can still see your toes. Then, sit back as if you’re going to sit in a chair. Does that help?

I cannot stop preaching about clean food, that is, organic – to those who are eager to know. Food that nourishes your body has to be clean and rich in nutrients otherwise I don’t see how you can achieve optimum health. Reaching your desired weight loss or life style goal(s) then becomes a breeze if you are healthy

    • There are many good reasons to consume organic fruits and vegetables. Keep sharing your message, Mashal!
